Real Life Vampires

Believe it or not, vampires do exist in real life.  But they aren’t exactly like the vampires that are found in vampire films like for instance that movie in 2000 called Shadow of the Vampire, The Night Stalker, Blade, Interview with the Vampire, or Bram Stoker’s Dracula.  These real life vampires don’t have fangs, although some might shave their teeth into points.  Most of these real life vampires stick to using their regular teeth.  The way they get to the blood is not by using their teeth like an injection needle, but by making little superficial scrapes on their victims skin and using their mouth to suck the blood out of their victims.  They can get great volumes of blood out of their victims through the most minor of wounds.

There has a  lot of vampirism in Eastern European countries in the past centuries.  As a matter of fact there was a Countess in Hungary, named Countess Bathori  who in her vanity used to victimize the young girls born to poor peasants for their youthful blood because she believed that by imbibing on this blood her skin would look brighter and be softer.  She would kill the young girls and drink their blood and rub it onto her skin.

There is an animal called the vampire bat.  This bat is solely in tropical climates.  This bat will drink human blood.  It has razor sharp teeth that enable to create small insignificant puncture wounds that it will suck the blood of its victims from.  This bat can easily suck pints of blood from its victims at a time.  It attacks sleeping horses and other animals.  It also attacks humans.
